The School of Engineering & Computer Science seeks faculty applicants for a tenure-track teaching position. Responsibilities include teaching and developing undergraduate computer science courses, advising students, and working with student design teams.
The School of Engineering and Computer Science is housed in a modern facility and offers ABET-accredited computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering programs as well as a new civil engineering program.
This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials along with other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. This position is pending budget approval.
- Ph.D. in computer science or closely-related field preferred
- The candidate should have a broad computer science background that includes cybersecurity, software engineering, algorithms, and programming languages
- Commitment to biblical integration in and out of the classroom
- Qualified applicant must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's doctrinal statement, community covenant, and general workplace standards
