Executive Ministry Assistant

Full time position reporting to the Executive Pastor.

General Position Description

The Executive Ministry Assistant is responsible to live out the character qualifications of a Deacon/Deaconness.

  • Work with and support the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Church Administrator to accomplish the purpose, vision, and mission of Crossroads Community Church.
  • Maintain a professional, engaging, and caring style to ensure the Executive Team is represented well both inside and outside of Crossroads.

Character

The Executive Ministry Assistant will seek personal holiness first and foremost in order that they can serve the people of Crossroads with both purity and passion. He/she will demonstrate a humble maturity, teachable spirit, and grace-based Godliness of Gal 5:22-23.

 

Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Executive Ministry Assistant is to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Senior Pastor Responsibilities

Fulfill the administrative needs of the Senior Pastor. Serve as the gatekeeper and point of contact for the Senior Pastor by managing his calendar, voicemails, and emails to ensure a clear understanding of his daily duties and commitments. Oversee all external and internal communication by editing, proofing and word smithing. Manage social media on various platforms. Support weekly sermon prep and slide content. Mange projects, errands, events for the Senior Pastor. Coordinate meetings, events, conferences, and travel.

  • Executive Pastor Responsibilities

Fulfill the administrative needs of the Executive Pastor.   • Church Administrator Responsibilities

Fulfill the administrative needs of the Church Administrator. Oversee all external and internal communication by editing, proofing and word smithing. Help coordinate meetings, events, conferences, and travel.

  • Keep current with new trends, processes, policy making & technologies in their area.
  • Function as requested by the Senior/Executive Pastor in other areas as needed.
